My best friend showed me a picture of risoles that she bought in Mangga Dua, Jakarta. She said those are the best rissoles she's ever tasted. When she showed the brand logo, I realized that it's originally from Pekanbaru. At least it's Pekanbaru brand, regardless where it's cooked. It's amazing that Verina successfully expands its business to the capitol city.
In Pekanbaru, you can find Verina's small stall in every mall and supermarket. The main store is on Jl Sudirman, near Jembatan Siak 1. They also deliver the orders to customers. The price is reasonable, about Rp 3.500 - Rp 6.000 each, depends on the fillings. My favorite is rissole with smoked beef and mozzarella. It melts deliciously on your mouth. Hhhmmm....
Recently, they also sell lemper (glutinous rice filled with chicken). It's Rp 2.500,- each and I think it's the best lemper I've ever had. Yummy...
